NY composition

It was a a rainy day in New York. I was a bit sad (it could be said that I just have a red day), but I didn't know why so I decided to take an umbrella and walk along the 5th Avenue (I specially recommend the Tiffany's jewlery store). I really love to see all the magazines, it calms me down: when you are in NY, you feel cool, even if you can't buy anything.

After a while, I found a cat in a steamy and dark street. It seemed to be abandoned, so I decided to take it with me. I went back to my house in a skyscraper (I can see all Manhattan from my window, a fantastic landscape) and I took care of the cat, I tried to give him a name, but I couldn't find any appropiate name for him, so I just call him cat.

Christmas time...

COMPOSITION

It was a very cold day outdoors. The windows were steamy. I could see through one of them a man who slipped and fell down while he was walking on the street. He fell on his backside. He tried to stand up twice but, when he seemed to be within his depth, he fell again because the pavement was frozen. I couldn't help laughing.

As I woke up in sweat, I couldn´t help noticing a world wide know icon, a unique masterpiece, of course I´m talking about the "Liceo Castilla" aka Maristas. Where was I?? How did I get there?

Suddendly I began to get surrounded by a swarm people, all of them heading towards the fake clothing brands´stands. I tried to remember what had happened but I failed to. I felt as if I had a leak in my memory and it was driving me nuts. Now I was starting to freak out, I was feeling out of my depth. And the suddendly I saw it coming towards me.......To be continued.

I was standing in the middle of the city sewer, that sweltering atmosphere under seas of humanity, under the cross roads of the world. Yes from all the variety of jobs
I choose this, working under this unique city, under millions of stands, shops and honking car honks,that day, I was tring to repair a leak of a pipe and suddenly I realised I can´t help but going out of that "burried at live" place and yell for a taxi and take a long breath. This is the moment in which I decided I need a vacation, I toke a map an point somewhere in europe, when I looked at the point I saw a name: Burgos... after some resarch I notice I was going to travel to a spanish gotic icon, I will have the proud to visit the cathedral of Burgos!

A FUNNY STORY

I was like two years, and my mind was plenty of crazy ideas, as all toddlers have.
I was at my grandparents´ house with them and my mum.

Before telling you this amazing story with an object, I have to explain you what the object was.
It is a very useful thing for children, when it is used in a good way, which goes insidea the WC. This lets children do "WC things" without having problems of falling into the WC.

Well, I was very bored, I supose, so I decided to put that thing on muy head and with a fast move I put it between my shoulders and head, like a necklace.
When muy mum tried to take it out, as you can imagine she coludn´t. It was imposible!
My grandparents tried it too, once by force and then with oil, but it didn´t work.
I was kind of skared and I can remember I was thinking I was going to have it forever.
They called my dad, but he vas working, and I had to wait until he arrived, hours later.
During that time, I couldn´t move my head very well and I had to be careful with walls and doors becouse that new objects was difficult to control.
Finaly, my father arrived and with some tricky movements he set me free

I read your last e-mail days ago, but I couldn´t answer it becouse of the exams...Luckily I have already finished them.They were killing me!

Any way, in response to your main question, you wanted to know if I was going to your birthday party.
I´d be stupid if I said no, so count on me.
My question is, do you need any help to take everything ready? You know I´ve got good skills with computing so I could make a funny video with puctures of all of us or something special... You just tell me.

How are you? I hope you're well. Sorry I haven't written for so long but I didn't have time. I was very busy getting ready to go to England and now I'm here! I'm staying with a family at the moment but I'd like to find a flat becouse I want to be more independent.

My course starts tomorrow. You know I hate getting up early-well, muy classes are from 8 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. every day! Luckily the university is very near so I can walk there.

Anyway, I'll finish now because I have to go and buy my new books.

Something fun

One of my favorite sports is ski and the first time I practice it was when I was four years old. One day I was skiing in Andorra with my family, my uncle and my cousins when somethig funny happened.
I was complaining because I want to ski in the red tracks because my mum and I were the only that didn’t go there. I continue insisting but my dad forbade me to go there because he thought that they were dangerous for me because I still had no helmet. Complaints weren’t heard by my dad while I was still insisting. I was angry and I started crying and suddenly one of my tooth dropped in the snow. I started shouting because I couldn’t find it because obviously it’s impossible to find something white in the snow. After twenty minutes searching it my uncle found it. It’s amazing!. I couldn’t believe it. At night the tooth fairy brought me a helmet, so my dad let me to ski in the red tracks.=)

Anyway, I remember you promised me you would send me some links to prepare my first certificate exam and you wouldn't!

What else?Oh yes, I looked for Precious, the film you told me about, and i dont have it anywhere, but it must be a very great film, mustn't it? Despite of not having it, I know it won some oscars and if you found it it would be nice to watch it in english classes.

Dear jesus,
It´s a long time since we last spoke. You remember that i told you about my idea of spending the whole yea in America to improve my english.
guess what-Now I find my self here in New York enjoying a lot, living on my own and trying to lern a living, so that i can pay my stay and studies here at the University of New York.
This is a really big city, and the people are so nice. Although the classes are all in English, I can inderstand it really well.
The food is quite nice, but i miss a lot the spanish food such as paella and the delicious Spanish omelette.
Besides, as you know I´m a shopadict so i´m in the best place to go shopping because we have the famous the 5 Avenue where all the best fashion designers show their creations ina a very wonderful windows shops.
what else?by the way, i´m going to Art classes, as you know New York is the best place for actors and actreses to perform so there are several inportant schools of Art here. Pay attention because it´s posible you can see me one day on a Tv program=)
what about you? do you keep teaching English at Maristas school? i hope so because i have a very good memories of you

INFORMAL LETTER

Dear Jesus,

I write this letter to you instead of calling because I'm in the Amazonic jungle taking a rest , and mi mobile has no coverage, but I've found a mailbox!!! :D

Here is fantastic, I like the vues the hotel on a tree is a really original idea to see all the jungle, and the room is really comfortable, despite the huge mosquitoes. The weather is a bit too warm, but I like more this than the Burgos' cold.

What else? Yesterday we had a little trouble, because a monkey stole me the bag and I was chasing it for three hours, and finally, it gave up the bag, but it had eaten my sandwich...

How are things in Burgos? Still are you teaching English lessons? You should take a few vacations, I've heard that Madagascar is really nice, you might go there, if you like to travel.

Dear Jesus,

I’m spending some days in Madrid with my mother and my brother.

I’m enjoying a lot in spite of the weather, because it is cold.

Do you know what?!? You won’t believe me but yesterday I was in the underground and when I got off I met with Hugo Silva and he asked me where Gran Vía was! I explained to him the way! It was really exciting :D I had never spoken with a famous until yesterday!

He’s really handsome, I think that we would make a good couple although he’s too old for me ..

What else? I’ve visited many places, yesterday I went out with my brother’s friends and it was quite funny.

I have bought many clothes, however I haven’t found the jacket which I wanted.

I will come back in 4 days, I will phone you when I arrive.

Anyway, i read your e-mail asking for my summer, thanks for take care about it! It was really cool, it was a pitty that you coludn´t arrive at time for been part of our pool video!

How´s your family doing? How about your summer?
Well there isn´t much left to tell you... I hope next year we colud make the video with you, it would be great altough we are not the best film directors...

Burgos, 18th October 2010

Dear Jesus,

I´m writing this letter to you in order to encourage you to contact with me. However you´ll probably won´t (as usual, despite my efforts). This is the 10th letter I´m sending you and it will be the last if you don´t reply immediatly. Also there isn´t much left to tell you that you do not know.

How´s your family doing? Mine´s great although my grandparents had lately some health issues.

Anyway, what are your plans for the winter holidays? Whatever plans you have, clear up your agenda, cause I´ve already booked an hotel by the Pyrenees to go skiing. It´s gonna be great although there might not be enough snow cos I haven´t checked the weather yet. Either way we´ll have some fun.

Looking forward to watching you fall downhill.

Last year I was with my friends in a bar and in this group of people was the boy who i liked. We decided to go out. The bar had got glassdoor and it was really cleaned. I went the first. i didn't see the door and i crashed with it.All my friends laughed at me, it was really embarrassing. My nose was swollen during a week.

funny story

this story happened 5 or 6 years ago. I stayed in my village with my friends and we were playing hide and seek. I was going to hide with a friend and we saw a perfect place,ther were a lot of big plants. Befor i had nouticed, my friend ran to them and suddely i heard a terrible shout. When i went to see what´s going on, i saw that she had fallen in a really big hole of about 4 meters down. As it was dark anyone was out and i had to help her, although i was about to foll into the ground.When she finally went out, we saw that she was full with nettles and we had to bathe her in vinager. Luckly , she was completly recobered from that incident.

Something Funny

I still remember when, some years ago, I was playing football in the playground, or trying to.
I hadn´t kicked the ball in all the match so I was really angry.
Suddenly i saw the ball, in the air, coming towards me and I thought:
" I have to do my best, if not, nobody will pass me the ball again "
When the ball reached me, I tried to do a overhead shot but when I kicked the ball, It hit me in the face and I fell down. It was ridiculous, everybody started laughing at me and my face went red, I was really embarrassed

SOMETHING FUNNY

I remember when I was a child, I was about 4 and my parents took me to the zoo in Madrid. I've always liked the animals, so I enjoyed a lot. At the evening we went to see the last animals, the ostriches, there were a lot and I wanted to touch them, because they were near the public. So, my father put me up on his shoulders to touch an ostrich. When I almost touched it, the ostrich bited me and I fell to the ground shouting and crying. Since that I hate ostriches.

Recently my mother showed me some homemade videos of my childhood, I laughed a lot, which I liked the most were this: I was in the kitchen having dinner in my highchair ,with a washcloth with the shape of a chicken. My Mother was telling me a story about a jealous hen who stole the other's eggs. When she finished reading I took the spoon and I began to hit me in the hand (which had the glove) shouting "bad chicken, bad chicken!". Suddenly I began to cry, I was really hurt.
It was very funny because I was so angry with that chicken that I forgot I was striking my own hand.

I recommend you to watch all the homemade videos you have, It's very funny to see you when you still were an innocent kid.

A funny story

When I was a little girl I used to sing and dance when I was alone at home. One day, I thougt I was alone and I started singing, but believing I was a superstar, it was very ridiculous. While I was dancing I heard a noise... my parents and my grandparents were laughing at me! All of them were in the basement, so I didn't see them. Now, when I'm watching TV with them and there's a person dancing they say to me: Come on! Dance! I don't know why it's so hilarious for them... but it's so shameful for me...

One day my mother have the idea of invite my uncle to come with us to look for mushrooms. We went to a big land and we strar looking the floor. My mum in one site, me a few metters to the right and my uncle near us. We were so concentrate in the search, but then my mother asked me... where is your uncle? We start southing a lot because we didn´t found him. My mother strarted being very very nervous and she went to my grandmother´s house to phone the police.
When she was in the middle of a nervious atack my aunt phoned to know when we would return because she didn´t know if she had to made the dinner or not. My mother dind´t know what say beacuse she had losted her husband!!!!
After two hours with the police and all the village looking for my uncle whe listen to a tractor noise and my uncle on it, with a man from I don´t know what village, who was in his land when saw muy uncle walking along the road.
We have never known what move to my uncle to start walking but in my family aaaaall christmas we eat mushrooms in his honor.
But my mother always repeat that she will NEVER invite muy uncle anothetr time.

Those were the mushrooms we were looking for. They are called setas de cardo and the are my favourite.

history

Three years ago, on 28th december, my family and I were in the village, in the bar.

Then my dad bring us one share of brave potatoes that has a very good aspect.

Nobody tasted it, I didn't know why, so I decided to be the first... so I get the first potato into my mouth and I bit it. This potato was so so hard, so I take another one and I realised that it was so hard too....Then, when I had a looked, everyone in the bar was laughing at me!

Everybody knew that the potatoes was raw and nobody has told me nothing... I felt so ridiculous

THE KID'S INOCENCE

one day when I was yung I went with my grandma to a shop to buy a wardrobe.
she was paying it with ready money and when she was giving the shop assistant the tenth note I started shouting: "stop grandma! you had given her so much money, it doesn't cost so much!!"
and the shop assistant started laughing.
then she asked me if I wanted a sweet and of course I accepted it but I also asked for another for my brother, another for my mum, another for my dad......for all my family! so when my grandma heard me she told me to stop and to say thank you.
I said thank you and the shop assistant answered: "many times"
so I said : "OK........THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU....."

now I laugh a lot when I remember it.

funny story

I had been thinking some funny moment in my life, but only I find the episodies that embarrassed me. This is the reason why I´m going to tell something about my brother.
When I was younger, my mother tells me that when my brother was a child, they were in IKEA or someplace like this, and he looked at a black man, and my brother said:
-Ey! I have a question... Why don´t you have a shower? You are a filthy pig!

Funny Story!

It all started like an average summer day on the beach. My sister wasn’t born yet, and I was with my parents and some friends having a sunny day on Laredo, which is said to be a nice place. I was about 3.

My parent’s friends had a son, Alex, and I used to play with him, but that day I was playing with mom on Alex’s towel, when suddenly… I pooped on the towel!! My mother felt so embarrassed and cleaned up the towel, but I felt really comfortable…

FUNNY STORY

This story is real.
I was with my cousin in the "Alcampo", when we found a mobile, which was equal that the mobil of my aunt, I taught my cousins the mobil and they thought do a joke.
We were in the village and we borrow her mobile, but she didn't want to leave it us (she was distrusting already us...), but ultimately she gave it to us, and we changed it for the opposing mobil, and my brother estarted looking at the photos, and started saying that it had blocked, and he started to slap the mobile against the table, the face of my aunt was changing for moments...
and suddenly they taken the mobile and they threw it against the floor, and the mobile... broken into thousand chunks, my aunt started shouting and take all the chunks of the mobile with almost tears en the eyes, when she discovered that really was not his mobile.
It was a very big and funny moment...
Now my aunt laughs of this moment when we remember it.

Many years ago I was in Santander with my little cousin playing in a park. Suddenly a small dog, probably a yorkshire terrier or something similar, started to pursue to him, who was afraid, and he began to south and run in circles. It looked like the typical Benny Hill's scene. Now when we remember that situation we laugh a lot.

something fun and embarrassed

all started with the tipical family holidays in Paris i was with my sister and my dad in a shop center with a lot of shops and my sister and i went to a music shop and listened different songs in the sample records . I didn´t hear anithing and i started singing the song very loud and all people looked me and my sister pushed me and said that and i felt so embarassed

A funny history!!

My history started as all school days starts....As a normal school day my alarm clock rang at seven o´clock. I was really tyred so I didn´t get up until quarter past seven. As a normal school day I had breakfast a glass of milk and a cereals bowl, made my bed, got dressed and took my school rucksack ready to a new school day.

I lived in a village and my father took me to school every day so I waited him but he didn´t come so I was to his bed in order to woke him up because we were going to arrive late
My father woke up a bit nervous asking me what were the problem. I answer him that he had felt sleep and we were arriving late to scholl.
He started laughing and told me that day were sutarday and we dindn´t have to go to school!!!!!

It wasn´t a normal school day but I was so stupid that when my alarm clock rang I tought it was a school day!!!!
Every day my family and I remember that story we laugh a lot but that day I couldn´t felt more stupid altough I felt happy at the same time because I could slept as time as i want.

Something funny

My mother always remember me when I was three or four years that one summer we stayed on the beach and my parents bougth to my brother, my sister and me a bag of crisps. The problem started when my father said that I could take the bag of crisps. I was very funny because the whole bag was for me but suddenly my mother got it. She shouldn´t have gotten it because I started to cry. As I was very angry I decided to take hold of a sunshade while I was crying. My mother laughed at me because I never say anything and this day I had become crazy. Anyone could get me and I shouted: ¡ I want my crisps, I want my bag, It´s mine!. Finally my family had to give me some crisp because I didn´t let go of the sunshade.
They never bougth me more crisps in this summer.

Something funny:

It was summertime and my parents were out of town for some days, the only people at our house were my sister and I. I had told my sister that I would be spending the night at a friend´s but finally I changed my mind and went back home. My sister wasn´t home yet so I planned a way scare her as a joke. When she arrived, the doors were locked and inside the house it was dark. As she shut the door a black shadow jumped upon her (me) and just said "buu"!!

You should have seen her reaction, I scared the crap out of her, she even fell on the floor. At first she didn´t recognize me because I was wearing a black cloth but when she did, she punched me kind of hard actually and she got really mad at me.

After a while she forgave me and we laughed together a lot.

Well, I always remember one day long time ago, which was really funny to me...
I was probably ten or nine years old, and I was in Fuentes Blancas with my parents and brother.
We (my brother and me) were feeding some ducks in the edge of the river while my parents were looking after us, in a close bench.
My brother and I were very naive, so we try to toy with the ducks, but suddenly the ducks got out of the water and began persecute us, they din´t stop until they bit my brother´s bottom!
My father scare away that evil ducks, but we all laught when we realise that the duck had a piece of my brother´s diaper in it´s peak!

P.D: No  animal or brother was injured during this story....
