New York

Hello people, I’m writing you from my room in the 78th floor of the hotel. It is located in the Big Apple, near Times Square. When I went up, what fascinates me more was the skyline, it was something magic.

This morning I woke up hearing the car horns. Then I leant out of the window and I could see yellow cabs everywhere. Then I look at the sidewalks, they were congested of pedestrians from all over the world.

Few minutes later someone knocked at the door. It was my friend who was waiting me for visit the Guggenheim Musem. We decided to take a taxi. We went to the curb and raised our hands. In five seconds there was a taxi. It was drove by a Mexican.

In the museum the corkscrew-shaped structure was very flashy. We strolled it down enjoying the paints and the sculptures.

After the visit we’ve decided to return to the hotel and plan the evening. We will probably visit the Central Park to see the recently made Zoo.

I will be noticing you about my visit.

luck composition

I want to tell you about luck.
Many people believe that luck is given by destiny , It is always easier to believe that everything in this world
From my point of view the concept of lucky is the product of your best actions.
you could tell me : ok but ,what happens with the lottery? you didn´t do anything but you were lucky
My answer is really simple : When you buy a lottery ticket and you may win, but this doesn't mean your were lucky but the action you did.
Another example could be when you find a banknote on the ground and you say :I'm really lucky, I've won win some money "
ok you have some money now but the product of this is that someone has lost that amount of money and you look down and you find it on the ground.

Yesterday I read an article in a sicence magazine and it assures that the brain had seen the 20 € since the moment that you were near the money But your you were not conscious is your subconscient who sent you the order to look down to take the money

The brain is fantastic and when we want something the subsconcient brain will help us to obtain it.

This city has got a lot of icons that make it unique like; Time Square, yellow cabs, hot dog stands,... For this and more thinks New York is one of the centres not only more fashionable related to clothes but also the most effective to find an opportunity to get a good job as all the most modern trends and tenencies usually get there first. Some icons:
TIME SQUARE calls itself the cross roads of the world. Here you can find a sea of humanity congesting the pavement of the most famous and typical avenues and streets in N.York like The fifth Avenue, High Park, and so on
if you go to NY you should visit the GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM and of course the STATUE OF LIBERTY.
As famous as these places is the typical HOT DOG STANDS
when we go to these city we hardly ever see a game of STREETBALL although they are legendary
All this and more you can find here, but despite that NY looks like a city with a lot of festivals and magic, we have to keep in mind that many people live there.
As far as I am concerned i would love to walk through those amazing streets, by some clothes, eat a hot dog, in conclusion, do all the things that make it special.

Personally, I love this holiday because it is a time to stay with the family and all your friends.

On the one hand this year i stayed, as usual, so much time with my relatives.I ate and had dinner with them and i played a lot with my cousins.I specially remember the three wise men day when my littel cousins came to take their presents. On the other hand, I had spent a great deal of time with my best friends having fun and smiling a lot.

Also, this year i danced in a lot of places with my ballet group. It was the first time we had danced in the ¨teatro principal¨and it was a spectacular experience.

In short, I like this party not only for the presents,and the free days, but also because it is a special time to pass with the close family and friends

Xmas composition

First, forgive my delay in writing. Although I xas too busy, I missed you badly.

I mail you only for wish you a great Xmas, but, it was finish. So, I think that the best is write about my Xmas time.

This year, it was too familiar, with all my cousins. We went to bowling alley, to Llanas in nights, and after, we went to my grandmother´s house, playing, a lot of days...

Apart from that, I hadn´t stepped on my home. All my time I was in the street, with my friends, to enjoy, because the next year,... I don´t know where I will be.

New York

When I arrived New York, I was starving so I decided to go to a hot dog stand. I wanted to see Times Square, it was really colorful but i felt a bit overwhelmed because of the swarm in which i was surrounded. To relax myself i went to central park, crossing a lot of steamy streets. when i arrived I sat on a bench and I took my binoculars from my rucksack and then, I started watching different bird species. At night i had dinner with my friends in a luxurious restaurant next to the Empire State and when we finished we went to a bar to continue the party

Xmas composition

Well, winter is not my favourite season of the year. For me, winter, or at least in Burgos, means too much cold, getting dark sooner, rain and sometimes snow, which could be funny at first but, when it melts or freezes, results a bit irritating. The only positive things I find is that it is holiday and Xmas time, and in a couple of years, if I am lucky and I find a job, the only one will be Xmas.

I like Xmas time because beyond the gifts and shopping, Xmas is love, love among the family, the friends and even the unknowns. In this time, it's not difficult to see people wishing merry Xmas or happy new year even though the aren't known. Grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins,...all the family get together for having lunch or dinner and for lots of families, it is the unique time of all the year.

Definitively, Christmas time have something special, something magic.

WINTER COMPOSITION

Personally, I don´t mind been in winther or in summer. I mean, winter is not a bad station, despite the wather and low temperatures, but it is true that if I had to choose one, I would rather be in summer.

Fistly, winter is the season, at least in Burgos, in which we do the most part of the activities of the year. Summer is related with vacations, time to relax, travels...We have more time to sleep, stay with our friends, have free time...Winter is more stressful. Going to school, having exams, little time left to sleep...

Furthermore, people gets more aggressive, serious and sad. Lot of people goes from their home to their work and from there, they go back home by car or by bus, and don´t meet friends to socilize in the street.
However, in summer, people walks along the street, do activities on the open air...

Finally, what we should better do, and this goes to that people who get depressed when it rains or the summer and holidays finishes, is to accept the winter, the bad weather and live it in a happy way, until next summer arrives!

WINTER COMPOSITION

BURGOS?

I want to share with you a dream I had last night.
Our wonderful city, Burgos, had become in such a crowded one.
Foreing people, congested roads, thousands of cabs, bustling shops and thoose kind of things that better fits in big cities like New York.
There was a cacophony of languages wherever you were.
Our winter, our frozen winter, was now a sweltering station, having as proof that people were inline skating, cycling and going arround without scarffs, gloves or worm clothes.
But the good point of it all was that regular people and police alike were much more up for any difficulty.There were more plays in the city, good concerts and unique landmarks.

NY composition

It was a a rainy day in New York. I was a bit sad (it could be said that I just have a red day), but I didn't know why so I decided to take an umbrella and walk along the 5th Avenue (I specially recommend the Tiffany's jewlery store). I really love to see all the magazines, it calms me down: when you are in NY, you feel cool, even if you can't buy anything.

After a while, I found a cat in a steamy and dark street. It seemed to be abandoned, so I decided to take it with me. I went back to my house in a skyscraper (I can see all Manhattan from my window, a fantastic landscape) and I took care of the cat, I tried to give him a name, but I couldn't find any appropiate name for him, so I just call him cat.

Christmas time...

COMPOSITION

It was a very cold day outdoors. The windows were steamy. I could see through one of them a man who slipped and fell down while he was walking on the street. He fell on his backside. He tried to stand up twice but, when he seemed to be within his depth, he fell again because the pavement was frozen. I couldn't help laughing.

As I woke up in sweat, I couldn´t help noticing a world wide know icon, a unique masterpiece, of course I´m talking about the "Liceo Castilla" aka Maristas. Where was I?? How did I get there?

Suddendly I began to get surrounded by a swarm people, all of them heading towards the fake clothing brands´stands. I tried to remember what had happened but I failed to. I felt as if I had a leak in my memory and it was driving me nuts. Now I was starting to freak out, I was feeling out of my depth. And the suddendly I saw it coming towards me.......To be continued.

I was standing in the middle of the city sewer, that sweltering atmosphere under seas of humanity, under the cross roads of the world. Yes from all the variety of jobs
I choose this, working under this unique city, under millions of stands, shops and honking car honks,that day, I was tring to repair a leak of a pipe and suddenly I realised I can´t help but going out of that "burried at live" place and yell for a taxi and take a long breath. This is the moment in which I decided I need a vacation, I toke a map an point somewhere in europe, when I looked at the point I saw a name: Burgos... after some resarch I notice I was going to travel to a spanish gotic icon, I will have the proud to visit the cathedral of Burgos!

Lara's story

A FUNNY STORY

I was like two years, and my mind was plenty of crazy ideas, as all toddlers have.
I was at my grandparents´ house with them and my mum.

Before telling you this amazing story with an object, I have to explain you what the object was.
It is a very useful thing for children, when it is used in a good way, which goes insidea the WC. This lets children do "WC things" without having problems of falling into the WC.

Well, I was very bored, I supose, so I decided to put that thing on muy head and with a fast move I put it between my shoulders and head, like a necklace.
When muy mum tried to take it out, as you can imagine she coludn´t. It was imposible!
My grandparents tried it too, once by force and then with oil, but it didn´t work.
I was kind of skared and I can remember I was thinking I was going to have it forever.
They called my dad, but he vas working, and I had to wait until he arrived, hours later.
During that time, I couldn´t move my head very well and I had to be careful with walls and doors becouse that new objects was difficult to control.
Finaly, my father arrived and with some tricky movements he set me free

I read your last e-mail days ago, but I couldn´t answer it becouse of the exams...Luckily I have already finished them.They were killing me!

Any way, in response to your main question, you wanted to know if I was going to your birthday party.
I´d be stupid if I said no, so count on me.
My question is, do you need any help to take everything ready? You know I´ve got good skills with computing so I could make a funny video with puctures of all of us or something special... You just tell me.
